One of the factors that differentiated Christina from other month-of planners was she reviewed all of our vendor contracts at the very beginning of the process. Not only did she end up saving us a lot of money by catching discrepancies between our catering and venue, but she and her team were totally aware of where we stood and could make pointed suggestions to fill our remaining gaps. They didn't just show up a month out and say...ok debrief me...like I'd seen with many of my friends who hired month-of planners. Christina Whitney was amazing! The whole process from wedding planning to wedding day was almost effortless and that is due to Christina. Christina was always pleasant and enthusiastic but most importantly, she was always accessible and available to answer any questions or ease any concerns. One of the things we appreciated the most was that Christina treated us like family. Our wedding day, was not stressful or chaotic but instead was very calm and smooth. Christina was the primary contact for the vendors and oversaw all of the behind the scenes events which eliminated all of the stress from us. The Wedding of My Dreams--Thanks to Whitney Events NY

I could not have chosen a better wedding planner for my big day. I got married at a beautiful location in Manhattan and everything came out better than I expected. To start off with, Christina only had 7 months to plan my wedding. She listened to my ideas and offered terrific input that I ended up using for my wedding. I had no idea what I wanted to do as far as food, and this is where Christina really pulled through with her culinary knowledge. She provided me with great options for the cocktail hour as well as the reception. I asked her to meet with the caterer personally because I trusted her to guide him in the right direction. As far as decor, I told Christina that I wanted my reception to look like a garden in the city. I wanted cherry blossom trees as my center piece, which I knew wouldn't be easy, but Christina made it happen for me. But what I really appreciated Christina for the most was all of the detail organization that she took care of for me. She made sure to stay in touch with me on a constant basis, updating me every step of the way with my vendors. In all honesty, my wedding planning process was virtually stress free because of Christina. I will forever be indebted to Whitney Events NY for the immaculate job they did to make my wedding day, the day of my dreams.

Christina is absolutely amazing. I planned my wedding long distance (from Boston) and I could not have done it without her help. First of all, her personality and can do attitude is contagious and makes every wedding planning "hiccup" seem like nothing. I loved her meticulousness and organization- which allowed me to focus on finishing studying for my board exam while knowing that the planning was getting taken care of. She was super understanding of my time constraints given my crazy work schedule. She helped us plan the most amazing wedding. From advice about the decor, lighting, flowers, she was candid and offered much needed advice. She has vendors that she recommends because of her experience with them, but is not pushy to try to get you to sign a contract w them. I owe her my sanity for everything that she did during the week of the wedding. She coordinated all of the vendors the few days before the weeding. The schedule she created (and dispersed to everyone) allowed us to relax and enjoy the wedding and not worry about timelines and organization. I felt incredibly confident in her services. I would book her again, and again. She is fantastic. Do not hesitate.

Don't even think twice about booking Christina. She's amazing, organized and very professional. I'm sooo glad I hired a wedding planner ( I did the partial planning package). I thought I was going to be a bridezilla throughout the process of planning my wedding, but I ended up being calm and carefree. I would highly recommend booking Whitney events and I believe I found her via wedding wire, so I'm paying it forward to the next bride by writing this review. ;) Just do yourself a favor by spending a little extra money on a planner. I know so many people who were always saying "I can't wait until it's over" kind of feelings in terms of planning. I NEVER felt that way. I fully enjoyed the process and Christina definitely was a great person to steer me in the right direction. "

We cannot say enough about Christina Whitney.

It was clear from the first phone conversation, the ensuing handshake with a warm confident smile, that we were making the best decision, second only to each other, towards the day we envisioned.

We did it all in pieces - venue, caterer, flowers, band, tent, photographer, and Christina was the glue. At the time, working with Sterling Affair, Christina stepped passed the role of caterer and embodied the unspoken title of planner. She was our biggest fan when we were excited about an idea, and our honest mentor when we couldn't decide.That was something to always count on and appreciate - Christina always gives it to you straight. She was a calming force for many a meeting; both professional and demanding with vendors, she knows the trade like the back of her hand, she knows when to push because someone could deliver more, and she knows when to trust another professional to do their job. She channeled our excitement and focused our ideas, and was as hands on as she needed to be while always keeping the big picture in mind.

Food was a priority for us - major. With Christina's culinary background, we knew we were in good hands. We are still getting compliments on the hors d'oeuvres at our wedding months and months later - she advised us on those, too.

Christina is the ringer you want on your team. She is the reason why your guests have a great time and they thank you for it. Our wedding was gorgeous, but most importantly, WE had the best time. We saw everyone, we ate the food, we danced the night away. It was because of the pace of the evening that Christina set, and the confidence that she instilled, that we were calm and able enjoy the most important night of our lives.

She is a rock star, and she has our highest praise!

Christina helped our wedding day go off without a hitch. We were planning from out of town, and we were so lucky to be working with Christina who was always happy to answer questions and give her advice. She was able to give us recommendations for a florist and production company who were both top-of-the line.

We were so happy with the entire day. She had thought of everything, and made it so that all we had to do was have fun. She had a detailed schedule and plan for the evening, but she was also flexible when things didn’t go exactly as planned. She had dedicated a waitress to make sure that my husband and I had everything we needed from the moment we arrived until the moment the party ended.

Our guests still talk about how our wedding was one of the most perfect they have ever attended. We would highly recommend Christina to anyone who is planning an important event.

I had the opportunity to work with Christina, from Whitney Events, for our destination wedding at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. I can say for certain that without her help and expertise we would not have been able to pull it off. We planned our wedding from our home state of NJ and Christina knew exactly what to ask and how to get everything done being so far away. Christina, truly made the planning easy, stress free and most importantly it was fun for me and my fiancé.

The night of the wedding she was tremendously essential to the event. Having never have been to Mandalay Bay before she found all the right people we needed, made sure we were always taken care of and assured everything ran amazingly smooth.
